hey guys here’s my post about seeing louis ck
he was really funny. i lol’d for like an hour straight. it was 95% new material with a few things from his show mixed in and updated. this was my first live comedy experience and, despite hampton beach being one of the shittiest places on earth, i really enjoyed it. i felt a lot like i did at my first real concert, amazed at how much more fun i was having with the shared experience aspect of it.
louis ck’s comedy is brilliant in so many ways but i’m not going to bother writing about it because to me nothing takes the fun out of comedy like dissecting it (not saying that doesn’t have value, I just hate it, OK??). but it was fantastic and everyone who enjoys funny things should make a point to see him live.

The first time I ever saw this I was at Matt’s house with a bunch of dudes in high school and I’m pretty sure we were laughing so hard we were crying at this part. Also, I’m pretty sure we were all sober and 15.
